The newly redesigned 2022 Acura MDX takes its popular third-row SUV to a whole new level of exhilarating performance and luxury. The Acura flagship model is now more spacious, better-equipped, and even more adept on the roadways of Kenner and New Orleans, LA.

The Acura MDX is a driver's SUV, and for 2022, it delivers an even more rewarding driving experience. Completely redesigned for premium performance, the all-new Acura MDX uses the same powerful 290-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 as its predecessor, but the engine is now linked to a 10-speed automatic transmission instead of a nine-speed. The additional gear allows the engine to work more efficiently, achieving both greater performance and fuel economy. Front-wheel drive is still standard, with all-wheel drive available as an option. Whether you're driving around Metairie or Gretna, LA, the all new double-wishbone front suspension puts power firmly on the ground, allowing you to navigate even the tightest turns with exceptional ease.

For 2022, the Acura MDX gives you elegant new sophistication in the cockpit. The new Precision Cockpit™ Digital Instrument Cluster comes standard and presents you with an even clearer view of the road ahead. Also standard, the newest Acura MDX features a generously-sized 12.3-inch infotainment display with a center-console-mounted touchpad controller. On A-Spec® and Advance Packages, the ELS Studio 3D® premium audio system enhances your favorite music with studio quality sound. Standard onboard technology includes Apple Carplay®, wireless Android Auto™, built-in Amazon Alexa, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a wireless smartphone charging pad. The wide panoramic moonroof, also standard, opens you to the whole world and tilts up to bring fresh air into the cabin. Safety Features To Protect You.
The 2022 Acura MDX surrounds you and your family with a full suite of safety features known as AcuraWatch™. The safety package includes forward-collision warning, collision-mitigation braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and road-departure mitigation. In addition, we do even more to protect you, with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistant, a blind-spot information system, rear cross-traffic monitor, and traffic-sign recognition. Our standard automated emergency braking system even comes with pedestrian detection. The Advance package features the Surround-View Camera System to give you an unimpeded total view for safer parking and safely driving in reverse.
More Interior Space to Surround You.
The new 2022 Acura MDX at Walker Acura, in Metairie, LA, is longer and wider than before, with a 2.8-inch longer wheelbase. That bigger stance creates more interior space, with third-row legroom growing by an inch, and cargo space behind the third row growing by two cubic feet for a total of 18 cubic feet. All 2022 Acura MDX models have a second-row seat with a removable center section that can be configured for separate captain's chairs or a three-passenger bench. Total seating capacity is six passengers with the section removed, or seven passengers with the center section installed. In short, it's an interior that will make everyone in the family feel welcome and comfortable.
